Superb family home providing versatile and spacious accommodation in the popular village of Aylesham. Downstairs, there is a large and bright living room which offers plenty of space for all of the family to relax and there is access to a useful storage cupboard under the stairs. This then leads to a good-sized kitchen/diner with sliding doors out to a beautiful conservatory overlooking the rear garden. The kitchen is in good condition and has matching wall and base units with a gas hob and electric oven and there is space for a washing machine and fridge/freezer. The current owners have taken advantage of the large corner plot and have extended to the side to create a spacious double bedroom to the front and a modern shower room where there is a large shower enclosure, a WC and wash basin.
Upstairs, the largest bedroom overlooks the garden and there is another good-sized double to the front. The third bedroom is currently set up as a ‘snug' but would easily fit a single bed or would make an ideal study. The family bathroom is fitted with a modern whirlpool bath, WC and basin. You will also find a large airing cupboard off of the landing.
To the rear, there is a beautiful and large enclosed garden which has been landscaped to create the perfect outside space for BBQs and social gatherings. If you have always fancied relaxing in a hot tub with a glass of bubbly then you are in luck as the sellers have informed us that they are willing to negotiate on a price for this to stay. There is a back gate leading to a parking area where you would be able to park two cars. Do not miss out on this fantastic property and call us on 01227 472000 to arrange your viewing.
The village of Aylesham offers many activities for all the family to get involved in and there is a modern leisure centre offering exercise classes and team sports. There are local shops within walking distance where you will find a Co-op and post office along with some cafes and takeaway restaurants. There are also some beautiful walks nearby, including the North Downs Way, a national trail across rolling countryside. Aylesham is located around 6.5 miles southeast of the Cathedral City of Canterbury and around 8.5 miles northwest of the town and port of Dover. For those who drive, a journey into Canterbury takes around 15 minutes depending on traffic. The village has undergone a lot of development over recent years but retains a wonderful sense of community and neighbourly spirit. There are regular buses into Canterbury and Dover and there is a train station where you are able to catch a direct train to London Victoria.
