Set in a semi-rural location on the outskirts of Chartham, this charming semi-detached home enjoys idyllic views over rolling fields and farmland. The property is within easy reach of local village amenities including convenience stores and a primary school and the Cathedral City of Canterbury lies just four miles away.
The property is situated amongst a small number of residential and commercial buildings and the land to the right is owned by the local farmer. You have access to the property and the seller has told us that they have a verbal agreement in place which states that they are allowed to park up to two cars on this land. The current owner has also created off road parking for one car on her land to the front of the property. There is a pretty garden to the front which is laid to lawn and has a variety of potted shrubs and plants.
A porch welcomes you upon entry which opens into a hallway leading to a bright and spacious kitchen/diner with stunning views of fields opposite. The farmhouse style kitchen has a range of cream coloured wall and base units and has a contemporary centre island with a granite work surface. There is also an AGA range cooker with an extractor hob over. From here, a wooden door leads to good-sized lounge and has a feature fireplace with wood burner.
Walking back through to the hallway, an attractive stable door leads to a useful utility room which has a large sink, plumbing for a washing machine, a built-in dishwasher and a cupboard housing the boiler. At the end of the hallway, you will find a large, downstairs double bedroom which has fitted wardrobes and French doors leading out to a pretty courtyard area, perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee and a book on a Sunday morning. The courtyard is decked and has raised flower beds, covered storage ideal for storing the BBQ and an outbuilding. There is an en-suite shower room off of this bedroom making it perfect for guests or elderly relatives.
Upstairs, the landing provides access to three bedrooms and a family bathroom, all bedrooms enjoying the broad countryside views. The master bedroom is situated at the end of the landing and you would have plenty of room to comfortably house a king size bed. There is another double bedroom with built-in storage and shelving and the third bedroom, although a little quirky in layout, provides ample room for a single bed or would make an ideal study.
The property has oil central heating and there is an oil tank in the storage shed to the front of the property.
